Thaipusam 2007 - Batu Caves

almost missed this year's festival. a planned morning trip
was postponed to evening and eventually late evening
as dear chuan overslept!
we had dinner at mcd, then took a bus reaching batu caves
at 9pm! on the way i was so worried and was telling myself
"that's it, we will miss it". surprisingly, it was still very crowded
when we were there.
another great trip this year.

this year, i chose to go at night for a change.
had a great time with oliver, but to my horror
my speedlight was down! thank god it was
still under warranty. i had to depend on my
built-in flash.

Haagen Dazs, here we come! 
Saw a press ad saying that for the whole month of march, HD is serving buffet (lunch & dinner). Of course, being an ice-cream lover (in particular HD lover), the first reaction was to go for it!
We set out at 6pm sharp to begin our quest to taste all the available flavors. At the end, we managed to taste all the 16 flavors, with the two of us devouring 20 scoops of ice-cream. And also a glass of double-shot cappucino
My 'favouritest' is still the brandied cherry. Others that i love are macadamia nuts, vanilla pecan and of course the all-time favourite strawberry!  Gosh... already craving for the next one... Sharon, i'll bring u next time around!

Valentine's Day was a month ago, but hey! that doesn't mean you can't be enchanted by the beauty of flowers on other days.
A friend got me these white lilies... BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL... and they smell great! What's missing is a butterfly 
The lilies brought me cheers, so I thought of sharing some shots with you... so that they can bring you some cheers too.
